Are you ready for an easy and delicious soup recipe? This is hands down my favorite winter soup. I can throw this soup together in 5 minutes and have it on the table in 20. It is also very healthy and can be spiced up. I will be cooking this soup with my instant pot, but this can also be made in a pot on the stove, or in a crockpot. Stay tuned to see how easy this hamburger soup recipe really is!

Ingredients: 1 lb lean ground beef/turkey, 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes, 2 russet potatoes, half yellow onion,14.5 oz can vegetable/beef broth, 12 oz bag of frozen mixed vegetables, 1/4 tsp of cayenne, 1/4 tsp cumin, 1 tbs uncle chris' steak seasoning
*If you are using the stovetop or crockpot, then brown your meat like usual and add all of the ingredients to the pot. Let the ingredients simmer on the stove until hot or in the crockpot on low for 8-10 hours.
1. Start out by turning your IP on "saute". Add in a dash of olive oil and throw in your ground meat. Separate with your cooking utensil and cook until all of the meat is brown. If you are are using lean meat, you do not have to drain the grease since there will not be much. If the meat is not lean, you will just need to pour your meat into a strainer and pour back into the IP. Now push "Cancel".
2. Chop half an onion and your potatoes into cubes and add in.
3. Pour in your can of diced tomatoes. Then fill it back of with water and pour in as well. Add in your can of broth. Fill with water and pour into pot too.
4. Add in the mixed vegetables and all of your preferred spices.

5. Mix all together with a spoon. Push "manual" and set the timer to 8 on high pressure. Lock the lid and place the valve to seal. The IP will take a few minutes to warm up before cooking. When the IP is done cooking and beeps, let the soup sit until the timer says L0:15. Use a utensil to knock the valve to venting. All of the steam will now release. PLEASE BE CAREFUL! The steam is very hot, so stay clear from the IP until it has all released.
DISCLAIMER: I am not responsible for your instant pot or how your choose to operate it. Please read the owners manual prior to using to be as safe as possible.
6. Now open and stir! Serve with shredded cheese, sour cream, and our family favorite...saltine crackers!

Wasn't that super easy?!?! My family loves this meal and I love how easy and quick I can throw it all together. Let me know in the comments if you tried and enjoyed it!
